What people don't realize is two years ago in a city council Meeting where they were giving out money to the different departments Reed wanted half of the mpd money to put on a program called hug a thug. Under his breath he said that the police department is to aggressive but isn't it ironic they're too aggresive to do what the bible says in Romans 13:3 but they are not to aggressive for him to have 6 cops to go with him every where he goes but yet he don't put officers the street to protect us. I've asked officers who are trying to leave and have left why they did and they said Reed has taken their authority away from them so it puts their lives at risk when approaching the ones doing wrong. We've seen it in our neighborhoods and the this aren't scared of Reed but he is of them. He has no clue how to run the police department and everyone is leaving because of him putting their lives at risk by protecting the thuds so they won't come after him. Reed didn't want the bill 3 to dictate who comes in as intermin because it took his power away. Reed suffers from victimhood mentality that can be heard in his speeches etc. He runs this city under that mentality. The thuds are safe where we the citizens are not. We need a chief that IS tough and aggressive and runs mpd on what the bible says in Roman's 13:3 not one like Reed that has victimhood mentality. I predict by the end of the year our Homocides will be in the 80s. We're already are half way there now.

When you have a leader that says police are aggressive and tells your leaders on the police force to tone down their authority and not be so aggressive what do you expect from the thuds of the city. They have no respect for Reed and the police and they are challenging them. Reed is scared of the thuds. He has 6 cops that guard him everywhere he goes, but he doesn't have officers to guard us citizens. Cops don't stay because he takes their authoritative duties away from them, so they go elsewhere they can be cops and aren't at the mercy of the thuds in the city. Reed is the problem. It's pushing police out to make contact with these known criminals because they know who they are, they know their associates and they know where the trouble is. They are not doing their jobs. Be present at these locations, make contact, investigate, charge and put these violent offenders in the places away from society in the jails. And likely the police who would like to do something know little Reed won't back them up. So long as Reed and his like hold that office it will continue to decline and the most vulnerable will be afflicted by criminals.

Oh ,to mayor I might add all of these folks that's trying to blame you first of all needs to take all that vocalness up to goat Hill and get on the governor, legislature, and the adjudicators about passing a deceitful laced with NRA greed bill you reap what you sow. And,also with these parents and half a parents some of y'all needs to do a better job in raising y'all's kids and stop setting bad examples in front of them.

First of all, other cities don't have a mayor that says under his breath like Reed did 2 years ago at a September city council meeting that the police department is aggressive which gave him the right to take half the money that was designated to our police. Second the other cities don't take half the narcotic officers like Reed did. Third of all, other city mayor's don't take away the cop s right to enforce laws like I've been told by officers that has left montgomery has said that Reed does. He wants to hug the criminals not hold them accountable like the Bible says in Roman's 13:3-4. Reed is the problem. He has a large number of officers that go with him everywhere and guard his house but who's guarding ours? We need to get Albert back and remove Reed and get a mayor that was about going after people committing crimes.
